H E L L O ?

It's been15 months since I've been here. No, less than that because I logged on, looked at it and realized there was to much to do and closed the page. I miss pouring my thoughts on white paper. I hope I'm ready. I've thought about returning to blogging every day. I assume I need to update or change my Affiliates. I don't know if I have the stamina. I feel like I have ADD!

I have had changes with my Fibro, increased pain, higher Anxiety. My Chronic Fatigue reared it's ugly head and is asserting it's authority. I sit down and my eyes close. My body fatigue is worse. I had a sinus infection so  I was not moving much. Walked to the Post Office yesterday and thought I would need to call Dwain to pick me up. I made it though. Are we getting desperate when we feel accomplished by walking a half mile? I stopped every so often then proceeded.

We had a good winter in Arizona. It was warmer than usual and uplifting to have sun most days. We renewed old friendships. Our high school friends, Tom and Marlys spent a month parked next to us. I enjoyed their company.

We are in Wallowa and able to see our grandsons often. Josh's high school baseball schedule is full through the end of May. Most are double headers. So much fun to watch his team improve and work together.

I will close tonight with gratitude for having support groups on Facebook. If you are unaware, please check on them. They provide wonderful support which we all need.

Yes I can...learn to take one day at a time.

Yes I can...enjoy being outside without exhausting myself.

  1. Oh Deb I have been wondering how you have been doing and a half a mile is a big accomplishment way to go I know how hard this can be some days. i am so happy you are surrounded by loving supportive family and being with your Granchildren works like a miracle drug I am sure. Keep going and one day at a time is good advice. Take care of yourself and see you when you post another post no pressure. HUG HUG B

  2. I am so glad you are back!!! I love reading your blog!!! At least I can see you on facebook!!!!! Take care of yourself and enjoy those grandchildren!!!!!

  3. Hi Deb, this is my first time here. I am sorry to hear about your worsening symptoms. I think that you would benefit from my new blog Fibro and Food. It is about the foods we eat and how they effect us in both positive and negative ways.

  4. Hi Deb,

I just wrote a massive comment and it didn't save so I'm going to attempt to write it again..

Firstly, I'm so glad I found your blog! I'm in my twenties and have been really suffering the past year. My doctor has said that amongst other things that I likely have fibromyalgia. Since then I've been really trying to turn it around with healthy eating and exercise.. but it ain't easy! I started up a blog too to try and give myself some clarity, but also document and try and get tips and contact with other sufferers/fighters! I'd love it if you'd take a look and see what you think ( It's only very new so not loads to look at yet, and I get very tired out writing each one.. but I'm determined to make a positive out of these negatives!! I hope you start feeling a bit better soon. Stay positive. It's all we can do :)

  5. Hello, my name is Ken McKim.

My wife has Crohn's disease, and there's some pending legal action in Washington DC that is going to affect her, and everyone who suffers from a so-called "invisible illness."

I've created a petition that asks the White House to direct the DEA to not reclassify medicines containing hydrocodone to Schedule II from Schedule III, thus making them harder to access for millions of chronically ill people.

I have also made a companion-video to the petition that explains my reasons for doing this entitled "The Slow Death of Compassion for the Chronically Ill." If you wouldn't mind reviewing it and sharing it with your friends if you feel it's appropriate to do so, it would be appreciated. We have less than 30 days now to get the minimum 100,000 signatures on the petition, and getting the word out is the biggest challenge.

Here's the link to the video of my talk:

Thank you for letting me share here with you, and take care.

  6. Nice post

  7. Appreciate your blog! Excited to be your newest follower! I just started my own fibromyalgia blog :)

  8. I hope you can find a way to relieve the pain, Deb. There are ways that could help you manage it, and hopefully you have access to those. I hope the symptoms don't crop up too often, and that you can adjust to it quickly for the most part. Take care!

  11. Nice post!
I contacted a Chiropractor in Panama City fl for my treatment. Natural supplements are always the best choice but some time we need to go for Rx Drugs.

  12. Please be careful with products that boast results of pain free.

  14. Hi. I don't have fibromyalgia and I feel for those of you that do. I am writing because I found a product that I shared with a couple of my friends who do have fibro and they say it has literally changed their lives. Its called Thrive which you may have heard of. I use it everyday and I promote it to earn commissions. With that said I'm being totally honest here. is my link. I urge you to check it out! I have samples available too. find me on Thanks for reading and I hope this will be a blessing to you. Tom but you can call me Trés

  15. I recovered from chronic fatigue and fibro. Candida is a major player. Neem pills kill candida. My story.

  16. Support groups > physical therapist > psychologist > rheumatologist > primary care doctor. But all are important parts of the team

  17. although you all probably don't read this blog any more, just like to point out that it seems that most of you are attempting to push "natural supplements" on people suffering from a serious illness. It appears you are trying to sell hope in the form of a pill. Natural supplements are drugs just like Rx meds are drugs. You should be ashamed of yourself for trying to take advantage of those who are suffering.

  18. As a sign of gratitude for how my son was saved from fibromyalgia , i decided to reach out to those still suffering from this.
